This web site was designed to encourage continued communication among students from Garfield Elementary (Maywood, Illinois) class of 1973. What started with a few classmates who wished to keep in touch has grown to record numbers. We have successfully located 122 classmates and more continue to be found by current members. We discovered that about 80% of us have stayed in the Chicagoland area which makes keeping in touch that much easier. Because keeping in touch is the number one goal, we will periodically form committees to organize activities and gatherings. These gatherings range from a bowling party to full-blown reunions!
