I think Mel Brooks may have set the standard for outlandish creative comedy. I don’t think anyone could have pulled it off other than Brooks. I’ll set this video up for you. Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder are producing a play which they sold 1000% to investors. In order to make a bundle of money, they have to make sure that the play fails so that they can pocket the investors’ money. So they come up with the idea to produce a play about the most horrifically outrageous topic that they could think of.
